Evaluation

In our opening sequence we used garageband to create sound. We start off with a dull rather depressing sound, we get the impression that something bad or sad is going to occur from this sound which leads up to the death. I edited the sound so that it gradually fades in and out and as it fades out it is barely possible to hear it. When we see the view from the killers perspective I added a heartbeat and deep breathing sound. This was to emphasis how close the killer is to their victim and to create the idea that they are praying and stalking him. I also used diagetic sound by creating footstep sound effects as the victim walks away. Again this emphasis' that the killer is that close to him you can even hear his footsteps. When the victim is shot a gun shot sound effect is used. This is used to alert the audience and draw their attention. The next piece of sound starts in the interview when the victim's wife is being questioned. This is also created on garageband but has slow diagetics and is used to create a sad theme to match the idea that she has just lost her husband.
